What is cloud-based software?

Cloud-based software refers to software that runs in your browser (e.g. Internet Explorer or Chrome) when you are connected to the internet. This means you don't have to download any software and that your program, or GoDoChurch database, is available on any computer with a working internet connection. The downside is, if you don't have internet, you can not connect to your database.

Do I need to download anything to use GoDoChurch?

No, you don't have to download any software to a computer or worry about updating your software.

Which computer will GoDoChurch run on?

GoDoChurch admin system will work on any computer or tablet with a big enough screen and a working internet connection.

Where is my database?

Your database lies on our secure servers, where only you, and people you give permission to, can access your data. 

Why don't I see an icon on my computer?

GoDoChurch isn't software that you download, it is software that you access through your browser on your computer. For easily accessing the login screen you can create a bookmark of the GoDoChurch Admin Login Page (https://admin.godochurch.com/).

How do I access my database?

You can access your database by going to the GoDoChurch Admin Login Page (https://admin.godochurch.com/) in your internet browser and then entering your login details that you received in an email when you registered your database. If you forgot your password, just click on the Forgot Info? link and follow the instructions.

Can I use GoDoChurch if I don't have internet?

No, your database will only work when you have a working internet connection.

Should all the staff use the same login details?

No, GoDoChurch is set up in such a way that each person in your database will have their own profile and account. You can assign higher permission levels to staff members so they can access the admin side of your database.

If I need help using GoDoChurch, what should I do?
