Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This policy describes what information we collect and how it is used and shared. The summary of the matter is this:
All Personal Information that we collect on this platform will be processed, and held in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act.
Under no circumstances will we ever share your personal information with any third party that is not your church/our client. Your personal information (such as email address, mobile number, etc.) is only ever shared with the GoDoChurch database your church has set up, and even here, only specific people with specific permission levels (an example being your church administrator) will be able to access this information. GoDoChurch staff may have access to this information, but only for the express purpose of providing support to your church in their use of GoDoChurch. We take the privacy of your information very seriously. You can find a more detailed explanation of the kinds of information we capture and how we use it below.
The app also gives you the option of recording your involvement in church, membership in ministries, etc. Again, this information is only made available in your church's GoDoChurch database, and only to specific people who have the correct permission levels to access that data. These permission levels are set by your church staff and not by GoDoChurch. If you require more information about who exactly is able to access this information please contact your church administrator.
2. What do we collect?
Information you provide.
We collect the information you provide when you register for an account in order to use the app or when you use a GoDoChurch input screen to add your data to your church database. In so far as you record your involvement in church, membership in ministries, membership in lists, participation in growth paths, register for events, or any other feature the app or system provides - we record this information and make it available in your church's database. This information is never shared with any third parties.
3. How do we use data?
Device Information
We will at times use the following information from your device: Location data is used to set the default location for some of the modules that allow you to interact with a map. E.g. when you indicate the location of your home address we will use your current location to default the map interface. We will access the OS data of your device in order to provide you with the best user experience when you are using the application. We do not store this information on our servers.
Communication
Your church will use the data the app collects to better tailor their communication with you. GoDoChurch may also send you occasional communication or promotional material to help you make the best use of the app. All communication, whether from GoDoChurch or from your church can be opted out of at any time.
Manage the church
Your church may use the information gathered from the app to better manage the church. Data the app collects may also be used to create graphs and reports of church activity.
Sharing your data
Under no circumstances will GoDoChurch ever share your data with third parties that you did not agree to.

Your church and GoDoChurch may use any of the following to communicate with you:

5. Managing your content
You can manage your GoDoChurch profile from inside the application. By using the app you can fully customize what features you would like to have linked to your profile. You can also control what communications are sent to you using the news subscription modules.
Terms and Conditions
By installing the GoDoChurch App or submitting your information on a GoDoChurch input webpage, you also agree to our privacy policy, as outlined herein.
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and GoDoChurch and governs use of this app and website/Software as a Service application. By installing the GoDoChurch App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you are not entitled to use the GoDoChurch App.
1. Parties
This Agreement is between you and GoDoChurch only, and not Apple, Inc. (“Apple”), or Google. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you acknowledge that Apple and Google and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of this Agreement and these parties has the right to enforce this Agreement against you. GoDoChurch, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the GoDoChurch App and its content.
2. Privacy.
GoDoChurch may collect and use information about your usage of the GoDoChurch App, including certain types of information from and about your device. GoDoChurch may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to measure the use and performance of the GoDoChurch App.
3. Limited License
GoDoChurch grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the GoDoChurch App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may only use the GoDoChurch App devices that you own or control.
4. Age Restrictions
By using the GoDoChurch App, you represent and warrant that (a) you are 17 years of age or older and you agree to be bound by this Agreement; (b) if you are under 17 years of age, you have obtained verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian; and (c) your use of the GoDoChurch App does not violate any applicable law or regulation. Your access to the GoDoChurch App may be terminated without warning if GoDoChurch believes, in its sole discretion, that you are under the age of 17 years and have not obtained verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or legal guardian and you provide your consent to your child’s use of the GoDoChurch App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in respect to your child’s use of the GoDoChurch App.
5. Objectionable Content Policy
Content may not be submitted to GoDoChurch, who will moderate all content and ultimately decide whether or not to post a submission to the extent such content includes, is in conjunction with, or alongside any, Objectionable Content. Objectionable Content includes, but is not limited to: (i) sexually explicit materials; (ii) obscene, defamatory, libelous, slanderous, violent and/or unlawful content or profanity; (iii) content that infringes upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary right, or that is deceptive or fraudulent; (iv) content that promotes the use or sale of illegal or regulated substances, tobacco products, ammunition and/or firearms; and (v) gambling, including without limitation, any online casino, sports books, bingo or poker.
6. Warranty
GoDoChurch disclaims all warranties about the GoDoChurch App to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent any warranty exists under law that cannot be disclaimed, GoDoChurch, not Apple or Google, shall be solely responsible for such warranty.
7. Maintenance and Support
GoDoChurch does provide minimal maintenance or support for it but not to the extent that any maintenance or support is required by applicable law, GoDoChurch, not Apple or Google, shall be obligated to furnish any such maintenance or support.
8. Product Claims
GoDoChurch, not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims by you relating to the GoDoChurch App or use of it, including, but not limited to: (i) any product liability claim; (ii) any claim that the GoDoChurch App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) any claim arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed an admission that you may have such claims.
9. Third Party Intellectual Property Claims
GoDoChurch shall not be obligated to indemnify or defend you with respect to any third party claim arising out or relating to the GoDoChurch App. To the extent GoDoChurch is required to provide indemnification by applicable law, GoDoChurch, not Apple or Google, shall be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any claim that the GoDoChurch App or your use of it infringes any third party intellectual property right.
